SEVENTEEN DK x Seungkwan Unit Releasing First Mini Album 'Serenade' on January 12

SEVENTEEN’s main vocalists DK and Seungkwan are finally releasing their first mini album as a unit called ‘Serenade.’
The album includes 6 tracks with ‘Blue’ as the title track,
and actors Lee Yoo-mi and Noh Sang-hyun will appear in the music video.

Okay so I wasn’t expecting to be this emotional about a unit announcement but here we are 😭
DK and Seungkwan are finally releasing an album together and honestly it just feels right.

Their first mini album ‘Serenade’ drops on January 12th, and the name already suits them so well — it means ‘a love song sung at night’ in Korean.
That’s so them, you know? Soft, emotional, all about the vocals.

The title track ‘Blue’ is about love moving at different paces, that quiet moment when you realize your feelings aren’t quite matching up anymore.
I really appreciate when songs capture those subtle, uncomfortable emotions instead of just big dramatic breakups.

There are 6 tracks total including DK’s solo ‘Rockstar’ and Seungkwan’s solo ‘Dream Serenade.’
What I love most is that both of them actually wrote and composed their own songs — you can always tell when artists put their own emotions into the music.

The MV is gonna be cinematic style with Lee Yoo-mi and Noh Sang-hyun starring in it.
Director Ahnie Jeong is working on it so I’m expecting something that feels more like a short film than a typical idol MV, which I’m very into.

Also can we talk about how their ‘Die With a Smile’ cover hit 1 million views in a single day??
And the Blue challenge video already passed 100 million views in just 6 days.
The MeBoz combo is seriously so powerful and it’s nice seeing them finally get this moment together.

First stage is on M Countdown January 15th and I’m definately tuning in.
I’ve loved this duo for years and seeing them do something like this just feels really special.
Already emotional and the album isn’t even out yet lol 💙
